La mwcwieracosfinge è una mwdacreatura leggendaria, una mwdqchimera simile al mwdggrifone raffigurata nell'mwdwarte egizia (principalmente sculture) e nell'mweaaraldica europea.cite-ref-1[1] Si tratta di un mwfqleone con testa di mwfgfalco, talvolta portante un copricapo. Il nome fu coniato da mwfwErodoto per le mwgasfingi a testa di falco che vide in Egitto.

La ieracosfinge è da alcuni vista come un presagio di male.

La Ieracosfinge, così come l'mwgwmwhaAndrosfinge e la mwhqmwhgCriosfinge, compare anche nel gioco di carte mwhwmwiaYu-Gi-Oh! (sono rispettivamente le carte mwiqTLM-012, EP1-002, TLM-013).
